Our Stake President mentioned this quote a few weeks ago at church, and it has been on my mind ever since:
"Trials are mandatory. Misery is optional."
I love it, and it speaks for itself so I won't muddy it up by adding a long commentary. Life is hard. Marriage can be hard. But we can still be happy no matter what trials come our way. Choose happiness!
Love your post! Short and sweet and TRUE. I don't know if I have ever told you, but I think that you have a marvelous attitude. You are such a capable person and you are really doing a great job with your family. I am blessed to know Charlie, and now Carson, and I can see that you are really a positive influence in their lives. Always choose happiness and don't ever give up. :)
